"Sean and I met in a class at University of Oregon. Apparently he had noticed me in classes before but never had the courage to say hello. On our first day of Exercise Physiology lab, I sat between two friends knowing that our professor would be selecting groups for the group project. Much to my dismay and his excitement, the professor numbered each student 1 and 2 instead of telling us to work with the people we were sitting next to, so Sean and I got put in the same group.
We worked closely during the semester on this project and by the time we went out to celebrate completing it with the rest of our class, we were holding hands under the table at the bar!
Many years and several moves later, Sean proposed on the Oregon coast."
"We held our wedding ceremony in my in-laws home in Wilsonville. We rented out the PDX Double Decker bus and went on a tour of the city with our guests (with champagne and charcuterie), took our wedding portraits in a park in Portland, and hosted our wedding dinner at Serratto. Our family refers to it as "The Party Bus Wedding"!
We chose to have a large (I mean, LARGE) champagne bottle as our "wedding book." We had all of our guests gather in front of the bus and popped the bottle for a photo, then had everyone sign the bottle with gold markers. We have it on display in our home and it's so fun to remember everyone sharing that special bottle with us."

"I originally didn't want to wear a veil because I was concerned that it would hinder me from moving around freely on our wedding day. We didn't have a traditional wedding, and I didn't think it was necessary!
Bethany listened to my concerns and showed me that I still could have a beautiful veil that would complete my bridal look but that also would not be an annoyance to me! I gave her free reign to make whatever she thought would best suit my gown and hair style, and she executed my veil beautifully. It wasn't in my way, didn't weigh my hair down, looked absolutely gorgeous in photos, and bonus - my mother-in-law got her wish to have me wear one! Win-win for everyone!"
