Katie came to August Veils looking to create a veil to match her bridal gown. She was having the train removed from her gown and wanted to use the lace from the train for a veil. We worked together to decide which lace appliques from the remaining train she wanted to use, and discussed the overall placement of lace on the veil. Katie wanted to have a highly detailed veil in the back but more delicate towards the front, so we opted to go all out on the back of the veil, and taper our towards the front edge. After sending her photos of the tenative lace placement, she was delighted with the results! It was such a fun project to work on, and ended up being exactly what she imagined for her wedding day look.
